Director of the Ukrainian School of Political Studies, Chairwoman of the Board, Agency for Legislative Initiatives. Svitlana has a Master’s degree in philosophy from National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and in theoretical and practical philosophy from Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. Svitlana began her professional career at the Center for Promotion of Civil Service Institutional Development in 2007. She has worked in the NGO sector for over 10 years. Svitlana chairs the leading Ukrainian analytical centre Agency for Legislative Initiatives and is an expert in issues of political process, parliamentarism and civic education. She also coordinates one of the most successful educational and network projects in Ukraine, Ukrainian School of Political Studies. The establishment of the School marked the 10th anniversary of Ukraine’s accession to the Council of Europe and became a major event noted at the level of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe. Svitlana’s scientific interests include anthropology, political philosophy and contemporary Western philosophy.
